Swarmdle has no accounts. Your game progress stays on your device. We do not sell your data. The website uses cookieless analytics and shows advertising. The Android app shows ads and offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks Descent mode and removes them; see Advertising and Purchases below. This policy covers both the website and the Android app.

Game data

Your results, streak, stats, settings, and (in the app) whether you own the unlock are stored on your device under sdle:* keys: in the browser's localStorage on the web, or the app's local storage in the app. This data never leaves your device. Clearing the app's or browser's data erases it; there is no account to recover it from.

Analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless tool. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites. Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP address and user agent) to produce aggregate statistics; we see only the aggregates. The Android app does not use Cloudflare analytics.

Hosting

The website is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data (IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Advertising

Android app. The app shows ads through Google AdMob to help fund development. Ads are opt-in: you only see one when you choose to watch a rewarded ad to replay the day. To serve ads, Google and its partners may use your device's advertising identifier and related technical data, and may show personalized ads.

• In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any personalized-ads data use, through a Google-certified consent message (Google's User Messaging Platform). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Privacy options in the app's Settings.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Google Ads settings, and read how Google uses data from apps and sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Website. The website shows ads through Google AdSense to help fund development. A banner appears on the lobby and results screens; ads are never shown during a run. To serve them, Google and its partners may set cookies or read similar identifiers and use technical data such as your IP address, and may show personalized ads.

Purchases

The Android app offers a single one-time in-app purchase that unlocks Descent mode and removes ads. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see or store your payment details. The app talks to Google Play directly and sends no purchase data to us or to any third-party service. Whether you own the unlock is read from your Google Play account and kept on your device. Restoring purchases re-checks it with Google Play.

Children

Swarmdle is a general-audience game intended for players 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
